There is a Ghost in This Yoga Class

A ghost manages to get my attention during yoga class. But will I remember to help that ghost when the class is done? Welcome to episode 57 of My True Ghost Stories. Before I knew what ghosts wanted from me, I used to see them all the time. I was unable to set up boundaries and keep them from trying to contact me and I felt like I had to address every single one.

And life was exhausting while I was constantly communicating with ghosts and trying to listen to them. And I would also constantly feel this vibration in my chest that lets me know that a spirit is nearby. But since that was so exhausting and a completely inefficient way to live, I learned different ways to set up boundaries. And now I only address a ghost or see a ghost when I decide that I want to address or see a ghost. But every once in a while, sometimes in a quiet moment, I will feel that vibration that I get when a spirit is nearby.

And sometimes if I'm not too busy and I feel that vibration, I will look around and see what ghost is there. And this is what happened in my yoga class. Now I take yoga one time a week. I really should do more, but I really, really like to work out with weights. So I go to the gym about five, six days a week and five of those days are lifting weights and working on the machines and a little bit of cardio and one day a week is going to yoga class.

I just really like lifting weights. But my Saturday routine is all about taking yoga with my friends that I've met at the gym and in yoga class. And then we all go into the sauna and then I, and I believe they do, a cold shower afterwards and then leave their feeling fabulous. So this past Saturday, I went to yoga class. I had plans with my friends to meet there and then go in the sauna after.

And I had missed a few weeks of yoga for different reasons. And I actually had not yet been to a class in October. And this teacher, he's so great. Every month he has a different focus. So I found out last week in yoga that the focus of October is twisting, these twisting postures.

Now the other focuses are things like balancing balances. That's my least favorite. And stretching, that's my most favorite. And I am a little indifferent to twisting or spinal twists. And this class was actually just a few days ago and my lower back is killing me because I'm so sore from these twisting postures that we did in yoga class.

So on Saturday, when I got to yoga class, I entered early. I waited outside while the Zoom class before ours ended. And I stood there waiting with my mat. And I tried to be the first one in so I could get my favorite spot between the mirror and the pillar. But I was a little upset to see that this guy kind of like ran in front of me and he took that very spot.

I guess it's a really great spot. I must love it for a reason. One of the reasons I like to sit between the pillar and the mirror all the way on the other side of the room is because it's far away from the exit. And when things get difficult, I won't be tempted to leave through the exit door. And next to me, you know, maybe I would just leave the class.

So after seeing that this man had put his mat right where I wanted to put my mat, I couldn't exactly argue with him and say, hey, I was going to put my mat there because he did get there first, even though he got there first by cutting in front of me. I put my mat down in like my second favorite spot, which is kind of behind the pillar. And I went to get a drink of water. And when I came back, it was like some sort of manifestation. When I came back, that guy who took my spot was moving his mat away from that spot.

And so I quickly ran over and I grabbed my mat and I put it where I wanted between the pillar and the mirror. And pretty much as soon as I finished doing that, the class began. So it began with breathing and very light movement because we had to warm up for the really hard stuff that was coming. I knew it was coming. And as I was sitting there doing this breathing and this light movement, I felt that vibration in my chest that I described earlier, that vibration that I feel when a spirit is nearby.

So I said, oh, there must be a ghost here. And it was so chill in there and the lights are down low. I thought that this might be a time that I could actually at least look for who the ghost was. And this was just great timing because right as I made that decision that I would look and see where the ghost was, a twist came in. So I twisted it over to the left.

So we had to cactus our arms, which is where you put your arms up bent out to the side. And I twisted to the left. And this put me looking at the pillar. And there, if this is in my mind's eye, but I knew he was there, there, standing up against the pillar, just sort of staring at me blankly, was the ghost of a man. And he was staring non-threateningly at me, just sort of looking at me.

And it seemed like maybe he was confused. He looked like someone who's maybe like a little lost, doesn't know where to go next. There's no anger or desperation, but we held this twisted pose for a while. That's where my back is all sore. And as I sat there, cross-legged in this twisted pose with my arms cactus, I addressed silently the ghost of this man that was standing next to me in front of the pillar in yoga class.

And I just mouthed, you know, hello. And he was still staring at me and he said, my name is Paul. And I acknowledged him with this little nod, and I mouthed, high-Paul. And I said, Paul, I'm doing yoga right now. And by the end of this exchange, it was time to twist over to the right.

So there was no time for a conversation, not that I would want to have a conversation with the ghost in the middle of yoga class, because I really wanted to focus on my class. So as I turned away from him, I thought to myself, maybe after yoga class, I can come back in here and address this spirit. And as I twisted to the other side, the vibration of my chest that lets me know that a spirit is nearby, went away. And I did not get the sense that that ghost had left. He had just stopped standing next to me and had probably stopped trying to get my attention.

Maybe he had picked up on my intention to possibly come back into the room after yoga class, well, after my sauna and yoga class to help him. The yoga class went on and it was moderately hard. And always about 25 minutes into the class, that's the first time I look at the clock saying, how much longer is this going to go on? I always feel great after yoga class, but in the middle of it, I'm like, why did I do this? Why did I take this class?

So anyway, I got through the class, I felt great. And then at the end, we had a silent meditation. And I guess I had successfully closed up my ghost detectors and made solid boundaries to the point that I had completely forgotten that I had seen a ghost named Paul standing by the pillar looking at me during yoga class. I had completely forgotten. So now that yoga was finished, it was sauna time.

And I love sauna time. There's a crew of us girls, and we call ourselves the sauna sisters. How corny is that? Or even the sauna sorority? And we are a group of girls from that gym who like that sauna really, really, really hot.

Way more hot than most people at the gym like it. And all of the sauna sorority sisters were there. They were there last week after yoga class. So I came into the locker room after them. They had all left yoga class before me.

I do a little stretching afterwards. So when I got into the locker room, they were all there. And they were sort of like having this little mini celebration. Because apparently there's this one woman at the gym who complains really loudly when you make it too hot. And she had just left the sauna and like gone into the shower.

She was done. So we were very excited that now we can really crank it up as high as we want it. In the group of sauna sorority sisters was a new girl that I didn't know. But the other ones introduced her to me as you know, someone of a like mind when it comes to this sauna. And we all got in there and cranked it up and made it super hot.

And since that other woman had left and it was a weekend afternoon, we had the whole sauna to ourselves. And since we had the whole sauna to ourselves, we didn't have to worry about disturbing someone's meditation with our chitchat. So the new friend that I had just met, the new sauna sister, she started talking about dating. The way that the subject of dating came up was that this new friend of mine talked about how she had dated a guy who had a sauna in his backyard. And they didn't get along at all, but she wanted to keep dating him because he had a sauna in his backyard.

And then the other girls started talking about their dating and they are all much younger than me, which is why I guess I'm calling them girls and not women. I mean, they're grown women, but to me, they're girls. So they are all much younger than me and they were talking about their dating. But I am much older than them. So I talked about my daughter's dating and the whole discussion, everybody's dating made me so happy that I'm not dating anymore.

I am so glad that that's not really a part of my life right now. And hopefully never again. My sauna sisters, they do this whole thing where they stay in the sauna for 10 minutes and then they go take a cold shower and then they go back in the sauna and they can do this for like an hour. But I am a little more extreme. I like it super hot.

I stay in there for 15 minutes until I think I'm going to die. And then I leave and get into an ice cold shower. I just don't have the patience to be coming in and out of the sauna for an hour. So I did that. I almost died in the sauna from the heat.

I went and took an ice cold shower. I came out of that shower and I was getting dressed and I was feeling really fabulous. And my new friend, the girl who was dating the guy who had the sauna in his backyard, the girl who I had just met today, she came out of the sauna and she said, Stefania just told me that you're a medium. And then she went on. She said, I said to Stefania, you know, that makes a lot of sense because she's really deep, which is quite a compliment.

It's very flattering that I come across as deep. So I said, yes, yes, I'm a medium. And then we talked a little bit about how scary it was to see dead people and feel dead people and feel like you're being watched all the time. I talked about how scary that was before I realized that I'm supposed to help these trapped spirits. And we had that discussion for a minute, but she had just come out of a cold shower and was going back into the sauna for like her fourth round or something.

And as she went into the sauna, I thought, yes, I am a medium. And then I said, oh, yeah, there's that ghost in the yoga studio named Paul. I have to go talk to that ghost named Paul in the yoga studio. I finished getting dressed and I even like put my jacket on and got my bags and everything. And the yoga studio is right next to the locker room in my gym.

So I'll dressed up in my coat and carrying my bags and everything. I just went over to the sauna really quick and poked my head in super fast. I mean, it was really hot in there. So I didn't want to walk in there in my coat, but I opened up the door and I said, okay, bye, y'all see you. Bye, bye, bye.

And I just left. And from there, I left the locker room and I headed straight into the yoga room. And of course, all the yoga people were gone. It was just a big empty room, but that classroom is available for people to work out in if there's not a class going on. And so there was just one woman back in the corner, like stretching, she had her headphones on, she was stretching, she had some weights and stuff.

And I looked at the pillar and there was Paul, the ghost waiting for me. I knew that I was just going to be standing there, staring at what other people think is just the pillar. And I knew that I wouldn't be making any movements really or saying anything out loud and to an outsider, to someone who didn't know what was going on, it would just look like I was, you know, in some sort of a trance or something. So I didn't want anyone to see that. And the only person that could really see that in that moment was the woman who was working out.

So I kept trying to position myself so that she couldn't see me in the mirrors, but there was mirrors on all four walls. So I really couldn't get out of her line of vision. So then I turned to Paul, who was there by that pillar and I said, all right, Paul, you go over there. So he moved over there. And then I was able to really hide myself from the woman who was working out in the yoga studio.

Besides asking Paul to move across the room and stand away from the pillar, I otherwise could not connect with him. I couldn't connect with him and find out what was wrong, what he needed, was he confused, was he lost, was he waiting for something. I could not connect with him. And that's when I remembered that St. Michael guides me through these things.

And I had to apologize to St. Michael for ignoring him and forgetting about him for that moment. So I addressed St. Michael. I said, what's going on with this ghost named Paul?

And Michael said he's confused and he's upset because he doesn't have his shoes on. So for some reason, Paul the ghost was feeling trapped because he didn't have his shoes on. And I imagine it wasn't actually about shoes, but it was about some sort of unfinished business or something that he wanted to take with him. I don't know, but something about these shoes, Michael said he's confused because he doesn't have his shoes on. So Michael told me, tell Paul to put his shoes on.

And this is what I had to do. So I said, okay, Paul, look at me, look Paul, put your shoes on. And then he looked at me and then he looked down at the floor. And I guess then there appeared some shoes there. And next thing I knew he was crouching down and he was putting these sneakers on and tying his shoes.

And then when he stood up, he seemed content. He seemed more settled. He didn't seem confused and the blank stare, which would have been very spooky. If I was afraid of ghosts, the blank stare had stopped and now he was just sort of looking at me. And then as soon as he stood there looking at me, I knew what had to happen.

Next, St. Michael didn't need to tell me that now it's time for him to ascend. I just looked at him and as I was looking at him, and this is the way it always goes now, these four angels came in from each angle and sort of took Paul by the arms. I lifted him up and out through the ceiling and into, I don't know where, heaven, wherever he went. And usually I feel some sort of relief when they ascend.

But this one was different in that I felt chills, like really nice chills, like this was really wonderful thing. So things change up, I guess. This particular one gave me chills instead of this feeling of relief. I got chills. And I don't know what that has to do with.

That's just how it went. I very, very subtly went over and sealed the portal still trying to hide from that lady. Sealing the portal is waving my arm in a circle in the air as if you were using plaster to seal up a hole. And that I was able to make it look like some sort of exercise. I put my bag down and it looked like I was stretching my sides or something.

So I was able to close up the portal without making a spectacle of myself. I really don't think that woman would have looked at me either way, but I don't like to look crazy. So I do what I have to do to not look crazy. Anyway, this was three days ago. My back is still sore.

I was back in the sauna today, super hot. And I am so blessed to be able to do this work all the time. And this time I got to feel chills.
