There is a Ghost in this Lobby

Hello and welcome to my true ghost stories. Today is a mini summer episode where I'm going to tell you a short story because I am so busy with this summer that I don't have time to prepare my longer stories and I'm saving them for the fall. But I am gonna tell you some of my short stories that happen on my everyday life as a medium. But these stories are a little bit shorter and I will begin. Okay, I was, this is many years ago and I was alone in a doctor's office waiting room.

I was like the next patient and there was nobody else in that waiting room and it was in a very old building and I was sitting there reading. This was kind of before phones were really a thing that you sat there and looked at. So I was sitting there reading a book or the newspaper or something like that. And as I was sitting there, I could feel a ghost. I knew that there was a spirit in the room with me and as I often do when I don't feel like it, I was not paying attention to the ghost.

I don't always do that, but sometimes if I'm busy or if I'm reading something that I'm interested in, I don't just drop everything to help the ghost, which seems kind of mean, but sometimes you just want to read a book. But anyway, I was sitting there and I felt this ghost and then the presence got bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and more and more present. So I put the book down in my lap or newspaper down in my lap and I looked over to the corner where I knew that this ghost was. And I can sort of see them in my mind's eye. And in my mind's eye, I could see what this ghost was doing.

It was like it had turned into a huge monster, like a big worm snake kind of thing and it was hovering up over me and it was making like scary roaring noises. Like this, I'm gonna go like this. Rrrr, it was trying to scare me. But I'm not scared of ghosts. I'm scared of them if they like move things or if I hear a voice, that will scare me, but just this feeling of a presence and someone trying to get my attention doesn't scare me at all.

So I looked at this monster that they were showing me I knew it wasn't a monster. I wasn't scared of the intense energy and I said to that snake like thing I said, that's not gonna work on me. And then what I saw in my mind's eye is that the big snake monster roaring, scary thing shrunk down. Almost immediately when I said that's not gonna work on me shrunk down and it turned into this little old man and he was sitting on the floor in the corner with his knees up and he was holding his knees. So I think that this spirit had been desperately trying to get my attention but probably get many people's attention because this was a waiting room.

There's probably people in there all the time. Well, I know it's a waiting room. So there's people in there all the time. So he was maybe always trying to get people's attention and I was the first person that actually sensed him there and he had to make this big scary show to get my attention and I will admit it did work. But I said you're not going to scare me.

I'm not going to be affected by that which immediately made him shrink down and then I could see him for who he really was which was a frightened man. So right there I said, okay, now I can help you. And so I helped him to cross over. I'm sure we communicated a little bit. He may have expressed that he was frustrated, didn't want to be here anymore.

But he was probably a little confused because he was doing these strange things with being a monster in all. So I communicated with him. I told him what to do next and then together. We crossed him over to the other side. And then I felt no presence anymore.

And right as I finished that, the doctor's door opened, the patient before me walked out and it was my turn. I would like to think that the powers that be arranged it so that I would not be called into my appointment while in the middle of communicating with this poor man who was trying to be a monster to get my attention so that I could cross him over. I would like to think that the universe arranged it so that as soon as it was said and done, then it was time for my appointment to start and everybody was in good shape. And everybody was where they needed to be.
