Hello and welcome to the second mini episode of my true ghost stories for summer 2026 Today I'm going to tell you the story of a ghost in a restaurant and it's the restaurant that's doing the catering for my wedding So my a fiancé I Finally gotten used to calling him that right before I have to switch to calling him my husband The two of us went to this Pizzeria slash restaurant for the catering for our wedding reception now. No, I'm not just getting a whole bunch of boxes of pizza for my wedding reception This is also a restaurant that has a big pizza oven So we went there for their delicious food and we recently stopped by there in person to make our order and While going over what exactly we were ordering which is meatballs chicken parmesan salad and pasta With bread all that good stuff We asked the manager who was helping us What is the best way to pay for this you know credit card? Obviously not a check and She said well, you know cash is always best and we said okay We can probably get that much cash, but what about like Venmo or Zell and You know she was a pretty old-school Brooklyn and she said Venmo Zell We don't even know how to do that stuff which is pretty awesome that they don't know how to do that stuff But she said that and I have to admit that I am a little challenged in the particularly the Venmo area Because I am not one of my 20-something year-old daughters but I Identified with this inability to really understand Venmo and I said yes I said in my business I just pull up the app and then I just give it to the person to Send me the money on my own phone because I can't really figure it out and she said oh What's your business and I said oh Because I don't always know if people are going to understand this or not So I looked you know she was still looking down at the paper and I looked nervously at my fiance And he said go ahead tell her you know I mean really what do we have to lose it's not like she's going to cancel our order and throw us out of the restaurant if I tell her I'm a spiritual medium So he said go ahead tell her so I said well I'm a medium I'm I'm a spiritual medium so I go to people's houses and like clear out the ghosts or Clear any negative energy that's left over from ghosts there and I'm telling her this and she's just staring at me which can be a good sign or a bad sign You know a good sign means they're totally into it and a bad sign is that they think I'm crazy and it could go either way Most people are totally into it, but you know one out of every 10 I'll estimate things I'm crazy Well fortunately for me in this whole conversation I finished telling her she stopped the wide-eyed staring and she said oh my god That's so cool really I've never met anyone that does something like that before and I was like okay few She's not Horrified by this and she doesn't think I'm crazy and I described a little bit more about what I do and different jobs and stuff like that and then she Looked around the restaurant and said are there any ghosts here right now and You know there was so I said well, you know she asked so I would never tell somebody That there was a ghost in their restaurant if they didn't ask but she did ask so I said well yes Actually, there's a guy sitting right over there who I had noticed when we first came in and She said oh my god. Oh my god. That's so scary.

What does he look like? So I decided to describe him especially because he was really not scary looking at all I've never seen like a demon or something extremely scary but Some are more spooky looking than others and this ghost was definitely not spooky so I told her It's a man and he's got this kind of 70s Rocker look like he had long shoulder length hair And he had a big mustache And he was wearing like a tight t-shirt that was like cap sleeve tight t-shirt And he was sitting at one of the tables in the pizzeria and he was leaning back in his chair Just sort of mildly listening to our conversation and also looking around and he had his arms folded in front of him in a real casual laid-back way So I told her all of that And she's staring at the chair that I'm talking about and you know, she obviously doesn't sense this guy there She said well, that doesn't sound like anybody. I know who could it be So nice. I don't know I said it could be you know a former patron it could be somebody who used to work here You know something in the 70s And we actually didn't exchange any information me and the woman about How long that particular pizzeria had been there so I don't know if it had been there since the 70s And so after I told her all this she looked at the chair in fascination and then she said Oh my god Now I don't even want to be in here alone anymore. What am I gonna do at night?

And I said oh no, no, no, don't worry And I was like, why did I tell her but she did ask as I said I said oh no, no, no, don't worry. Don't worry. He's totally benign And she still was terrified But she was not terrified enough to not continue talking about the money and how we were going to pay her So we got completely engrossed in that conversation You know, she filled out the invoice She wrote down all the trays of meatballs and trays of chicken parm and everything that we were ordering And then she said how much the deposit would be and when do we need to bring that by and the time and you know All the details of a catering job And while we were having this conversation although I was completely engrossed in it with her I felt that ghost Of the 70s looking rocker guy get up from his chair in the pizzeria And walk out the door. I just felt that happen and it was not a big change in energy. It was a very slight change in energy He just sort of left in the benign way that he was sitting there.

He left in a benign way And so we finished up She looked at me with this sort of uh Help me look and I said oh no, no, I knew what she was looking at me before I said no He left so don't worry about it. He left and he's probably not going to come back Which was a little bit of a lie. You know, I don't know if he's going to come back He might but she doesn't need to know that because the ghost is not going to hurt her or anything and she's so scared and that would hurt her more Than knowing that the ghost was there. So I just sort of made up that he's never coming back We made an appointment for me or my fiancee to come by and leave the deposit and We exited the restaurant and as I walked out I reassured her one more time. Now don't worry about that ghost.

He's not coming back. He just came in for a minute Now as I said before I don't know who this ghost was He was possibly a former patron He was maybe a ghost that just wandered in off the street or maybe he was someone that used to work there But I will say that he had no particular interest in this establishment But he was very comfortable there So who knows who he was And the reason that I think this ghost left Because he was so friendly so benign I think that he left because he heard This woman who worked there saying how scared she was of him And his vibe was so nice that I really feel that he left because they didn't want to scare anybody And so that was the end of that. I've talked to her once or twice since on the phone Setting up certain details and she always says that is that ghost back Can you feel it over the phone is the ghost back? I said no no it is completely clear in there And I'm not going to tell that woman again if there are any ghosts because It doesn't sit well with her and she's much happier not knowing so I'm not going to tell her and My wedding is coming up very very soon now and all the trays are ordered and the guys are coming and they have the contact numbers of the Person who runs the event space And I bet you that all of that food will be delicious and who knows Maybe there will be some ghosts at the reception Thank you so much for listening to this mini episode of my true ghost stories If you enjoy my storytelling style you can subscribe to the patreon in the patreon I tell interesting stories of my life in New York City and beyond and if you have enjoyed this mini episode of my true ghost stories Please take a second to review subscribe and share it with a friend to help this show grow Until next time
