Honeymoon Ghost

Hello and welcome to a special honeymoon edition of my true ghost stories. If you've been listening to this podcast you'll know that I got married last week and I had a wonderful wedding. I didn't talk about that in the podcast but I'm telling you now that I had a wonderful wedding. Everything went wonderful. My husband and I had a wonderful time and all the guests had a great time and it was flawless.

I'm going to go ahead and say that the wedding was flawless and we went off right from the wedding. We went off to our honeymoon and today I'm going to tell you a story about a ghost that was on that honeymoon. So a few days before the wedding amidst all the planning and the insanity and the worry and the errand running and the dress fitting and all that, I was laying on my couch just having a little rest and as I was laying there with my eyes closed, I got a vision. And the vision was of something sort of twisting, like twisting, just regular twisting motion and I realized that it was a twisting motion that was inside a square and the more I focused on it, I realized it was a washing machine. And so I could tell just from this vision and meditating on it and focusing on it that there was some sort of ghost that had something to do with washing machine and it was going to be at this spa in the cat skills that my husband and I were going to go to on our honeymoon.

I could just tell that from meditating on that vision. So after the wonderful wedding, we drove. We drove. It was not that far of a drive. We drove to this spa in the cat skills.

It was beautiful. And we got our keys from a really, really friendly person at the front desk and then we went to our room, which was like a cabin. I call it luxury disguised as rustic because it was really luxurious, but it was trying to look rustic, which I totally appreciate. I'm not that big of a fan of super rustic. So we went to the room, then we came back out and we checked out the gym because that's something that's very important to both of us, me and my husband.

We checked out the gym and when we were in the gym checking it out, I realized, oh, I forgot to tell my husband about that dream about the washing machine. And the more I thought about it, I said, there is a ghost in the laundry room here at this spa in the cat skills. And I said, should I ask, should I ask that woman at the front desk and he was like, yes, she was so friendly. We should totally ask her. And I just got the feeling that she would understand.

I didn't know she hadn't said anything, you know, spooky about ghosts or anything. But I just, her vibe was one of open-mindedness and that she would totally get this. So I said, all right, let's do it. And so we left the little gym, which was very close to this front desk where you check in. And we were already checked in, but we walked over there to the front desk.

And I said to her, she was the only person there. I said to her, do you believe in ghosts? And she said without a moment's hesitation, she said, yes, yes. No qualification, no, sometimes I wonder just 100% yes. And I said, all right, this is the right person to talk to.

And I said, okay, I am a medium and I help ghosts to ascend. And I'm getting a very strong message that there is a ghost in the laundry room here at this spa. And she said, which laundry room? We have several laundry rooms. And I was getting such a good vibe from her that I said, well, which laundry room do you think it's in?

And she said, building 300 without a moment's hesitation again, building 300. I said, okay, I said, it's like the picture in my mind is of an industrial washing machine. It's really big. And she said, yes, that is the laundry room where they do the laundry for building 300. And it's a big industrial washing machine.

So I said, okay, is there any way that I can get into that laundry room? Is there any way that I can get into that laundry room to help this ghost? And she said, well, I don't know, you know, there's, I'll call over there. So she called over there. She said this is, I'm going to make up a name.

She said, this is Carol from the front desk. And we have a guest here who is a psychic medium. And she says that there's a ghost in the laundry room there at building 300. And then there was a pause. I couldn't hear the other side of the conversation, but I was just watching this Carol.

And she was just nodding. She goes, yeah, yeah, oh, yes. And I could tell from her expression that the person on the other end of the phone was saying, oh, yeah, that laundry room is haunted. And so there was a little bit of that conversation. And then Carol said, she was wondering if there's any way that she could go into that laundry room to help this ghost.

And then there was another pause. And she said, yeah, that's what I thought. So she hung up the phone and she said, I'm sorry. They said because of insurance purposes, you can't go in there. And I said, yeah, that's what I figured.

I'm going to have to get them to come out into the hallway. So she described to me where the hallway was. She says, you know, you're going to go in the front entrance, just use your room key. It will let you into the building because there was like a lounge there for all the guests to use. And she said, and it will be a staircase over to your left.

And the laundry room is at the bottom of those stairs. So don't go in that door. But that's where the laundry room is. And maybe you can get the ghost to come through that door. So standing right there in front of her with my husband next to me, I said, okay, I think I think I'll do a tomorrow.

And I said, so I'll come over to you tomorrow and I'll tell you how it went. And Carol, the woman at the front desk, out her real name, Carol said, oh, I won't be here tomorrow. I'm actually leaving it just a few hours. I'm going away on a trip. And since she was so friendly, I thought, you know, I can ask her where she's going.

She's volunteering that she's going on a trip and I like her. And I said, oh, that's nice. Where are you going? And she said, I'm going to the paranormal convention in New Orleans. At which point I just started laughing because I had actually doubted for a second that maybe she wouldn't be open-minded to this.

This dilemma of the ghost in the laundry room that I have to help. So I said, okay, then I said to Carol, I said, you're the perfect person to talk to about this. You completely get it. And she said, oh, yes, I get it. And she was actually going to be a vendor at the paranormal convention in New Orleans.

And she showed us some picture of this really cool stuff that she made. And I was just so thrilled to have such a kindred spirit there helping along with this project of helping a ghost to leave the laundry room there and building 300. So we, my husband and I spent the rest of that day checking out that there was a pool, there was a sauna, there was a steam room, there was a gym. We did all that stuff. And we spent the day just doing that.

And I made plans in my head and with that ghost who was waiting for me. I made plans to go over there the next night, let myself into the lounge, bring my husband with me, and go over to that stairway that leads down to the laundry room and invite that ghost to come out. And then I would deal with him there. I could tell from further meditation this, this ghost was a man and his name was Edwin or Edward or Frederick or something with an E D, something with an ed in it. And I knew that about him and I knew that he had been there for a really long time.

I did a little research. I talked to some local people and I talked to some people there at the resort and they said that this had been a hotel for like a hundred years. And it was built on old farmland. But I got the impression that this guy in the laundry room used to work there. That's all the information I got.

But I kind of got that he was a former employee who had passed on and for some reason was stuck in this laundry room. So the next night I got my room key. My husband and I headed over to building 300 and we let ourselves in with the key and there was a fun little lounge in the middle that was completely empty and there over to the left was that staircase. That staircase that leads down to the laundry room that Carol had described to me. So I went in and I stood at the top of this staircase, but I couldn't get any vibe of a ghost standing up there.

So I said, I'm going to walk down those stairs. There was nothing. There was a big sign that said employees only and with a picture of a stop sign, which I did not completely let stop me. I walked all the way down to the bottom of the steps and I actually opened the door. I didn't go in, but I did stick my head in all the way around just to make sure that it was indeed a laundry room.

And there it was. There was a big industrial washing machine and a whole bunch of dryers. I said, OK, this is it. So I step back outside of the door, still holding it open. And I just waited for Edwin.

I'm just going to call the ghost Edwin. I waited for Edwin to appear. And then it took a little while, but then he came over and he stood. I was on one side of the door holding it open and he was inside the laundry room. And I said, come on.

Come outside. And it took him a long time. He was very hesitant, but I held the door open wider, really praying that no manager would come by and see me doing this and tell me to get away from that employees only area. But I held the door open really wide. And then I stood back to let Edwin pass me.

So Edwin did eventually pass me and I let that door close and Edwin the ghost walked up the stairs and waited at the top of the stairs for me. Turned around. And he was right in front of room 301. There it was. So I walked up the stairs and I stood across from Edwin.

And he had his back to the door of room 301. And I had my back to the door of 302. And I was really hoping that no one was going to come and look through their people because these were, these were rooms and see me talking to myself. They would think I was talking to myself. I did not get that I was talking to a ghost.

So I started the communication and I just stood there and you know he could tell that I could see him. And then he just said, I was trapped in there. And I said, I know, I know. And he said, it doesn't look the way it used to look. And this building had been renovated.

I know it was a very old building. But downstairs when I peaked into that laundry room, there was new sheet rock on the walls and the dryers were new. And the washing machine was new. I imagine that this had always been a laundry room. But it definitely did not look the way it used to look because it looked fairly recently renovated.

So I stood there across from him and I said, I know, I know it doesn't look the way it used to look. And I know that you were trapped in there. I said, but you're not trapped in there anymore. And then say, Michael began to communicate with me because St. Michael tells me what to say to the ghosts.

And St. Michael said to me, tell him that he doesn't have to stay here anymore. Which is often what I have to tell them because sometimes they, you know, if they feel trapped, they don't feel like they can move on. And then Michael told me to tell this ghost, Edwin, to tell him that he is free now. And that is not something that I often hear to tell the ghosts.

But he was trapped in this room. I don't know why he was trapped in there. Now he was out. And Michael told me to tell him that he is free now. So I just said those couple of things to him.

And this ghost, he just went up completely unassisted. Now, if you've been listening to my podcast, you know that usually a few guides come in. Angels, guardian angels, whatever they are, they come in and they like take the ghost by the arms or they take them somehow and they assist them up. But this ghost just went up through that portal. As soon as he heard the words, you're free now.

He just went through this portal. And then the different thing about this particular ascension is that after he went up, three guides came from the corners after he went up. They usually come right before the spirit goes up, but these guys came in after and they went up the portal after him. And I don't know what happens on the other side. Maybe they were there to make sure he kept going.

Maybe they were there to make sure that he didn't turn around and come back. I don't know. All I know is that he went up and then instantly three guides came and went up after him. After that was all done, you know, I have to take a moment to just sort of collect myself because it takes a small toll on me. It's better than it used to be, but it does take a little toll on me when I help a spirit to cross over.

So I had to just take a moment to rest and then I walked over the air right in front of room 301 and I put my hand up and I closed up the portal, which sort of looks like someone who's putting plaster on the ceiling or something. And at this point, I was really like, oh, please don't let anybody come out of room 301. And don't let anyone in 301 be looking at the people right now. And I don't know if they were, but nobody came out. So I just did it.

I just closed up the portal. And then I went back out into the lounge where my husband was waiting for me and I said, okay, it's done. And it was done. Two days later, we left the spa. We actually went to a second honeymoon destination.

So we left that spa halfway through our honeymoon to go to our second honeymoon destination. And I needed to tell Carol what had happened. And Carol had given me a piece of her stationary that actually had a picture of a witch on the top. So this was really a girl after my own heart. So I took that stationary and I wrote out what had happened.

I said his name was Edwin. He said that he was trapped in there. He was upset because it did not look the way it used to look. I told him he is free. He crossed over and I sealed up the portal right outside of room 301.

So I took that note that I had written and I put it in an envelope. Actually one of the envelopes that was from our wedding from one of the cards that we got for our wedding. I just took that and I put, I took the card out and I put the note to Carol in there. And I brought it up to the front desk and I said, when is Carol coming back? And they weren't sure but they said in the next day or so, I said, okay, this is for her.

It's from Jennifer. And I think our room was 204 or something. I said, tell her it's from Jennifer in 204. She'll know what it means. They thanked me.

They looked kind of delighted that I had a note for her. I think she's very popular there. And that was the end of that. So I had no more intense paranormal encounters like that for the rest of the honeymoon. I did have a few moments where I felt a ghost over there and I felt a ghost over there and some weird energy back there.

But nobody that was really getting my attention and I did want to focus on this lovely vacation that I was having after my wedding. But I am glad that I was able to help Edwin the ghost in the laundry room in building 300 to crossover.
