John Meets a Ghost

A message from the other side really scares its intended recipient. Welcome to episode 74 of My True Ghost Stories. This story is about a friend of mine who I'm going to call Alice and her brother who I'm going to call John. So, the main characters in this story are my friend Alice, her brother John, and a spirit that comes to visit. So, Alice was a young friend of mine.

She was much younger than me and I was a bit of a mentor to her and she helped me with social media and things for my business. Stuff that people my age weren't getting so easily in the beginning there. And I mentored her in starting her own business. And we got along really well. I really liked her.

I think she liked me and we hung out and we did a lot of our work in coffee shops. So, we had something of a friendship. So, when we weren't working, we used to tell each other about our lives. You know, I would tell her about my daughters and she would tell me about her family. And she was very close with her family, particularly her brother who I'm going to call John for this story.

As time went on in our friendship, me and Alice, I wound up telling her about me being a medium. And I, of course, as always, when telling somebody this, I'm a little afraid of their response. But in general, people that I like and get along with are always cool with this. Pretty much, I would say 97% of people that I tell about me being a medium are cool with it. And she was super cool with it.

And totally open to it. And I even shared some of my adventures with her, different ghosts I had encountered, like a ghost that I had countered the day before, our ghost that was in the coffee shop with us and all sorts of things like that. And she was totally into these stories. So, Alice and I were pretty close friends and she knew about me being a medium. So, when her brother started to have some supernatural problems in his apartment, she knew who to go to.

She brought the story to me to see what I would advise. So, her brother had moved to Pennsylvania. So, he didn't live in New York City anymore. He lived in Pennsylvania, which is not that far if you're going to be driving. So, he lived in Pennsylvania and he lived in an apartment in Pennsylvania.

So, after he had been living in this apartment for a few months, John called his sister Alice, my friend. And he was really scared. He was really scared because he had heard noises in the other room of his apartment. And when he had gone into that room, there was nobody there. And it was definitely noises as if someone were moving around in his apartment.

He was really scared, but he also seemed to have some intuition because a friend of his has died fairly recently. And it was sudden and it was tragic. Don't know any details about what happened, but it was sudden and tragic. And somehow, John knew that the noises in his apartment were probably from his friend that had died. And he was completely freaked out about this and did not want to deal with this.

But he called his sister to tell her about it. And she said, I think I know someone who can help. And then she called me. So, she called me and we actually went to the coffee shop in the neighborhood to talk about it and to talk about a few other things, but to talk about that. And she told me the story of how her brother had heard these strange noises in his apartment and that he was freaked out.

And what did I think? So, she told me the story and I said, okay, hold on. And I got into the zone. And when I get into the zone, I close my eyes. And I can, I just see whatever pictures are presented to me by whoever's trying to get a message to me.

And I just got into the zone and all I heard was the name Matt. And I said, John's friend is named Matt, right? And she said, yes, correct. And she was surprisingly calm and not particularly impressed that I had known the name of the person. She was that much of a believer that she just said, yes, that's his name.

I just wanted to know what the next detail was of my message. So, now that I had the name and I knew that I was communicating with the correct ghost, I got back into the zone. And I said, okay, this is the message that I got. I said, okay, Matt is trying to get your brother's attention. And he wants him to know, and this is this message that I got.

I didn't know anything about the relationship between Matt and John, but the message that I got is that Matt wanted to say that. He's sorry that he lost touch with John and was so distant these last two years. And he wanted to say, I am still your friend. So, I told Alice to tell her brother this. And just because her brother seemed very skittish about this and was afraid that maybe this wasn't his friend, Matt.

And maybe it was just some demon or something like that that was making noise in his apartment. I said, tell your brother that I knew the name so that he will believe that this is his friend and not a demon. And I also told her to tell her brother that it was important for this spirit, the spirit of Matt, that John gets this message. And to me, it seemed like Matt, the ghost, the lingering spirit had lots of guilt, lots of guilt and unfinished business. And I feel that he felt guilty about losing touch with his friends.

So, it's possible that whatever led up to this sudden and tragic death involved Matt with drawing from his friends. I don't know that part for sure, but that's a pretty good guess of mine that that's what happened. There was a long withdrawal and then something sudden and tragic happened to Matt. So, I gave Alice all that information and I said, you know, if your brother would like to talk to me, that would be fine. And she said, no, he does not want to talk to you.

He barely wants to talk to me about it, but he really wants to know that it's Matt and not a demon. So, I said, okay, no problem. Just let him know that if he wants to talk to me, he can. And she said, okay, I'll tell him, but he won't want to talk to you. So, no problem.

I guess this is how it was supposed to go. That the messages went through Alice to me, back to Alice and to her brother, John. So, the next day she called me to tell me that she had delivered the message to her brother and her brother confirmed that Matt had indeed withdrawn from him over the past two years and that that was quite accurate. So, that gave him a little more faith in this process and in this message that it was indeed Matt, his friend. And for a minute, it seemed like it was done.

John got the message from Matt that Matt was sorry that he had withdrawn. He got the message from Matt that he was still his friend. And it seemed like this interaction between me, Alice, Matt, and John was finished. But it was not finished. There's more.

The next few days after Alice and I had talked and Alice had delivered the message to her brother from me, from Matt, I was walking around. I was walking around leading my life and I kept getting these images, flashes of trees, like a wooded area, right up next to pavement. So, woods and then pavement. Now, there's a lot of that in New York City, you know, parks that lead right up to cement. But I could tell that this was not in New York City.

This was elsewhere. And my guess was that it was in Pennsylvania, a wooded area right up next to cement. And it looked like the cement was new, like a development. And then after I got these scenes in my head of the wooded area up against New cement, I got a message from Matt, the ghost, himself saying that he needs help. And he needs help from me to tell Alice to tell her brother, John, a certain message.

And it was a very specific message. So I called Alice and I said, there's more. And I didn't tell her the message right away, just like I haven't told you, my listeners, right away. I said, there's more to the message, but I need to know, are there trees near your brother, John's house? And Alice had not yet been to John's new apartment in Pennsylvania.

So she said, I'll call him back. And so she called him back and asked him if he had trees near his house. And he said, yes, behind my house, which was in a new development, behind my house, there are parking spots. And right behind the parking spots is a wooded area. And then she told me that he ended that conversation with you're really freaking me out here.

And that he had really hoped that that was the end of his communication with the ghost. So she called me back and she said, yes, there are trees behind his apartment. And there's cement that goes right up to the trees. So I told her, okay, here's the message. Tell your brother that he needs to do this.

And this was the message. Matt, the ghost, needs John to go outside, stand on the pavement with his back to the trees facing the house. And he needs to let Matt the ghost know that he got the message. And Matt would really like to know that John accepts his apology. And if so, if John accepts Matt's apology about withdrawing from him for the last two years, he needs to say, and this was actually, this part was not from Matt.

This part was St. Michael. St. Michael said that John needs to say, I forgive you, Matt. You can go in peace.

So that was the whole message. Alice was writing it down, as I said it, because it's a little detailed and strange. But she wrote it down. And I'm going to just insert right here that I have no idea why John was supposed to face this house with the back to the trees. But this was the location that was given to me that this communication needed to take place.

And so maybe there's a portal right there. This information was not given to me as if it was none of my business. I was just told that that's where John needs to stand to give this message. That this communication between John, Alice's brother, and Matt the ghost was supposed to take place. Behind John's apartment in the parking lot with his back to the woods.

That's where the communication between them was supposed to take place. And so I just accepted that and I gave the message as it was given to me. So Alice said, okay, and I added that this is really important that your brother do this so that his friend, Matt, can cross over. So Alice called her brother. She called me back probably the same day.

She called me back and she said, okay, my brother said he would do it. And he does not want after this any more contact with ghosts. And I said, okay, I think this is the end. In fact, I knew it was going to be the end. So I said, okay, no problem.

But the only other thing that has to happen is that John needs to let you know that he did it so that you can let me know that he did it. And for some reason, that was part of the plan. Again, I have no idea why I was supposed to know that John did indeed deliver the message to Matt. But I was supposed to know. And so she called me back the next day and she said her brother had called her and said, I did it, okay?

And he was never going to talk to another ghost again. And hopefully he won't have to. But I know that this was the end of his interaction with Matt because I felt some sort of relief for Matt when I got that call from Alice. So I felt that something had shifted in Matt's existence as a lingering spirit that he had gotten to communicate with John. And that was the end of my interactions with Matt, the spirit.

I did not send him up. In this case, it seemed that I was there to get this message from Matt to John. And the powers that be like St. Michael and Matt's guides knew that John would tell Alice and that Alice would tell me. And then I could get the message back to John through Alice.

It all sounds very complicated. But I believe that these lines of communication were obvious to the powers that be. So they set it up. And I guess another plan was in place for this spirit to cross over this spirit of Matt. And I'm sure that that happened because I felt that relief after his communication with John.

And maybe he had to do that with a whole bunch of people. And I was just the one to help him do it with John. I don't know. But I do know that Matt got some level of relief from communicating with his old friend John. And I imagine that he's crossed over by now because he has not contacted me.
