Musical Theater Hallway Ghost

Hello, and welcome to episode 90 of my true ghost stories. At this age that I just turned a few months ago, which I consider to be a very large number, I go to a lot of different doctors, you know, for the most part everything's fine, but I do have to get all these things checked out. And all these doctor's offices are in different locations in New York City, but my favorite one to go to is the one that is right next door to my gym, like literally the doors are side by side. So I'm very lucky to be able to go to the doctor's office right after a workout or right before a workout. So I feel very efficient when I do that.

So besides being super convenient and being right next door to my gym, this doctor's office has another feature that's really weird. The hallway that leads to my doctor's office is this fluorescent lit long hallway with a door at the very end and one door on the side. And it is completely bare, just white tile, white walls, white ceiling, fluorescent lights, a door at the end of the hallway, and in this hallway, not in the doctor's office itself, but only in the hallway, there is really loud musical theater music playing. Now when you go into the doctor's office, it's silent, there's no music playing there. But in this hallway, which you walk down, and it takes a long time to get to the end of this hallway, there's musical theater music playing as you walk down the hallway.

And it is surreal. And it's one of the coolest places I've been to, because I feel like I'm in a movie or that I'm in a dream when I enter this hallway. So I had an appointment there the other day and I was looking forward to walking through the hallway. And I often take a video as I walk through. So I was looking forward to doing that.

And the day of the appointment, I was sitting there and I was thinking, oh, I need to take a video when I walk through the hallway. And as I was having these thoughts, this image of a woman ghost came to me and she was just standing there in this white hallway. Now my doctor's office door is all the way at the end of the hallway, but there is in this weird hallway one other doctor's office door over to my right. So this hallway has two doctors. It's very, very long, but for some reason it has only two entrances in it.

And so this ghost that was looking at me in this vision, she was sort of standing near the entrance to this other doctor's office on the side. So not in the middle of the hallway, but over to the side and sort of near that door. So I just said, okay, you know, I'll talk to you when I get there, which is what I usually say to them. When I get a vision like that, it means that they are trapped there and they are waiting for me to come. So I told this ghost, I will be there and I will deal with you when I get to my doctor's appointment, but first I'm going to the gym.

So I went to the gym and I had a nice workout and then I really got excited that now I'm going to the doctor's office and all I have to do is walk out the door and walk right back in another door, which is just always somehow so thrilling to me. How convenient that is. I wanted to finishing my workout a little bit late. So I had not allowed enough time for me to deal with the ghost before I got to the appointment. And also my husband had worked out with me and he was going to come sit with me in the waiting room for a while after the workout.

So I knew that I was going to have to deal with the ghost after my appointment. So as I said, I walked into the hallway, I couldn't wait. I was like, oh, here we go. And I walked in and the song Oklahoma was playing from Oklahoma. And I thought, this is so great.

I didn't take a video of that, but I said, I'll take a video when I come out. And the only thing different about the hallway this time was that there was a red trash can in the middle of it all catching water from a leak in the ceiling. So it's just even added to the surrealness of this hallway. So I walked down the hallway. I addressed the ghost who was standing there over to my right and I went into my doctor's appointment.

With my husband, we sat down together, we chatted. It got really boring because I waited a really, really long time in there. And so my husband left me in that waiting room to go get us a pizza and I was in there alone. And I waited for a full hour for my appointment to start. And in this waiting room, you couldn't hear the musical theater music playing in the hallway.

The door was shot and it really for the most part blocked out all of that sound. And in this doctor's office, I was the only person there. They have no TV and no music and all I listened to for a full hour was the ticking of the clock. With every tick reminding me that it was going on a full hour that I was waiting to see this doctor. And the receptionist had greeted me and I signed in and then she disappeared into the doctor's office.

So I was literally all alone in this doctor's office. Every once in a while, the musical theater music outside the door would get like really loud. Like the opening swells to Cabaret would start. And I would be able to hear those few notes, but then it would fade away. So it was so boring.

And I was on my phone and I don't really like scrolling. And then I was, they had like some magazine there that did not pertain to my lifestyle at all. So I read a little bit of that. And then I started pacing, waiting, you know, looking in the door, you know, is anybody even here? Did they all leave out of some back exit?

Am I alone in this doctor's office forever? So this was sort of giving me a feeling of what maybe that ghost in the hallway was going through. Some sort of earthly purgatory where you're just stuck in some situation and you can't get out and you're all alone. I was starting to get a little more sympathy for her out in the hallway, but at least she had music to listen to. I had nothing.

So eventually, finally the doctor came and got me and I went in, I had my visit, everything was fine. And I left there, always good, the receptionist was still not at the desk. So I didn't even have anybody to say goodbye to. So I just walked out into the hallway and got ready to help that ghost cross over. So I walked halfway down the hallway to that other doctor's office entrance.

And that doctor's office waiting room was also empty with no receptionist, although the lights were on in there. And I addressed the ghost. Now I did say that this hallway was completely bare, but there was one tiny little painting hanging up in the doorway of that other doctor's office. And I don't really know what it was. It was abstract, but there was a painting there and the woman ghost that I was about to help cross over was standing right next to it.

So I started like I always start. I said hello. And she said, the ghost said right away, she said, I can't stand this music anymore. And I immediately liked her. I often don't get like that much of a sense of the ghost's character, like maybe just their frustration.

But with her, I got her frustration, but I also got that she was funny and cool. I liked her. And I could relate. I had to spend an hour in that doctor's office listening to a clock ticking. And she had spent who knows how long in this fluorescent lit hallway with one tiny little painting and loud musical theater music playing.

What a horrible place to be trapped. So initially when I started my conversation with this ghost, the song that was playing was Maria from West Side Story. And so we started our conversation and she said the things about being frustrated and hating this music. And while we were talking, the music switched to an instrumental version of you can't take that away from me. And I stood there talking to this ghost and I thought, I bet this music plays 24 hours a day.

Because when I go to the gym at night, I walk right past this doctor's office and I know that it's closed, the gates are down, but you can see inside and the lights are on in that hallway. And I bet you that music plays 24 hours a day. So this ghost got no relief from musical theater. So I told her, you know, ghost, you're in luck. It is time for you to leave.

And then I had to explain to this ghost that there was a portal right above her and she could just go through it. I think I need to be there for the portal to open or I need to be there to explain. I don't really know how that part works. But St. Michael told me to explain to her that there was a portal above her and that she could just go through it and get out of this musical theater hallway.

And so as soon as she heard this, this ghost, she took a different stance, physical stance than other ghosts that I've seen. She actually put her hands together up over her head like she was going to dive in the opposite direction that you would dive into a pool. She was going to dive upwards. So she put her hands together up over her head. And as she stood there in that position, three guides, which is always what happens, three guides came in while she was in that position and they lifted her right up through the portal.

Now I had been feeling the tingling in my chest while I was having this conversation with this ghost, but not as much as usual. But what happened with this particular crossover is right after she crossed over, I got a very, very large tingle in my chest. And this somehow told me that this had been a complete ascension. She was not coming back. I mean, who would go back to that situation?

But I could tell that she was definitely not coming back, but I knew I needed to close up the portal anyway, not just for that ghost, but sometimes if the portal stays open, you know, other ghosts will come down and we don't need to give them that temptation and we don't want them getting stuck in that hallway. So I just walked over casually. And though I know that both waiting rooms were completely empty, I still used discretion while closing up the portal with my hand, just in case somebody walks in, I would look really bizarre standing, waving my hand over my head in the middle of this fluorescent lit hallway with no features except for one tiny painting on the wall. So I closed up the portal as quickly as I could. Nobody came in while I was doing that.

Both waiting rooms remained empty, not even any receptionists or doctors walking in as far as I could see through those glass doors. The instrumental version of you can't take that away from me had ended and the song Anything Goes from Anything Goes had started. And I said, all right, let's get out of here. And I walked slowly down that hallway and I opened the door and I went out onto the street and I was tempted to go back into the gym to work out some more, but I did not. I went to my car and I went home and I felt so happy that that ghost had gotten out of that fluorescent lit hallway with the blasting musical theater music and now hopefully she has gone on to something much more peaceful and restful on the other side.
