Hello, and welcome to my true ghost stories. This episode is a re-release of episode 53, which was released on September 17th, due to some algorithm difficulties. And that was a story about my supernatural adventures on a long walk home after missing my bus. So if you've already listened to that story, you can join me here next week where I will release a brand new episode. And if you have not heard that story, let's begin.
A missed bus and a long walk home bring me to found items and a spirit in need. As I've shared before on this podcast, I go to the gym a lot pretty much every day. And once a week, I take a yoga class. And after yoga class, I go in the sauna and then I drink this healthy shake that I made at home that I brought with me. So on the day of this story, I had done those things.
I had gone to yoga. I had gone into the sauna. I was drinking my shake. I had chatted with my yoga slash sauna friends in the sauna, not in yoga class. And then after everybody left, I went out in the gym and I drank my healthy shake that I had brought.
And I sat there planning that I would have to go home and I was going to catch the bus because I did not drive that day because there's never any parking on that day. And I knew that I was going to have to pick up a vegetable for dinner on the way home. As I was sitting there drinking my shake, I have to add these powders that I bring. And I bring them in like a little prescription bottle because I don't have the proper sized topperware to carry this protein powder, mushroom powder concoction that I put into my shakes. So as I was sitting there on the couch in the gym that day, I was wishing that I just had this right size tiny little topperware.
But I always forget to buy one when I'm in the store. So I was just wish for it. After I finished my shake, I left the gym and I stood out in front and I tried to make the decision if I should go to the grocery store on my right or if I should go to the grocery store on my left. I chose the grocery store on my left because then I can walk right up the block and catch the bus at an earlier stop. And then I would feel more like I was getting my money's worth from my fair if I took it an extra stop.
That was my actual reasoning for going to the grocery store on my left. I walked into that store and it was really expensive and I regretted that I should have gone to the one on the right. But instead I had gone to this one on the left and I was running out of time. I wasn't going to go all the way back over to the other grocery store. So so I went into this one and I needed some cauliflower and I was looking at the cauliflower.
And they were really expensive. It was per cauliflower head. So I said I'm going to get the biggest cauliflower that I can pick out of this pile here again so I could get my money's worth. So I found the biggest cauliflower I could and I went up and I paid this exorbitant price for it. And then I put it in my bag and I headed up the block to the bus stop.
So I walked its uphill which is a little tough after yoga and sauna. I had to walk uphill to long blocks to get to the bus stop. As I approached the top of the hill I saw a bus go by. I saw the bus go by the one that I was planning to catch. And the reason I was late catching that bus is because I had spent so much time trying to pick the largest cauliflower that I could find.
So I said oh no. And I got to the bus stop and then I looked at the app and the next bus that was coming was 26 minutes away. And that is a really long time. So it's really about at most a 20 minute walk home. So I decided I'm going to walk.
So I started walking and I was walking and it was a warm day. It was a beautiful day but it was warm. And the longer I walked the more I regretted buying the extra large cauliflower because it made the bag very heavy. So when I walk home this does happen quite frequently that I miss my bus because of some choices that I made beforehand that make me miss the bus. Like trying to find the biggest cauliflower I can find.
So I started the walk home and I for some reason I usually take the same route home but for some reason something told me to go up this other block. A block I never go up. And as I walked again I regretted why did I buy this gigantic cauliflower my shoulder was starting to really hurt from this heavy bag. But I was also getting some benefits from this long walk. I walked through two block parties that had music playing and people dancing and they had opened up the fire hydrants.
So the sprinklers were going. So I got a little a little ambient misting of cool water from these open fire hydrants. And I also passed to yard sales at the first one. The first one was all chachkis and stuff that would really clutter up my house. So I just walked right past that first yard sale and the second one had a bunch of tools.
But since my bag was already so heavy with the cauliflower I refrained from purchasing the $1 set of screwdrivers that I could have used. But that would have really ruined my walk home and I wasn't even halfway home yet. So I kept walking and on this block that had had the two yard sales. I saw a free box and a free box if you don't know. Is a box that people put out in front of their house with a bunch of stuff that they don't need and they put a sign on the front that says free.
And you can just help yourself to whatever you want in there. So I said let's check out what's in this free box. So I went and I looked and I glanced into the box and there were two small tupperware just the size that I needed for my powders and protein and mushroom and matcha powders. When I bring my shake to yoga. So I thought ah-ha maybe this is why I missed my bus so I can finally get the right size tupperware.
I crossed the street and I went up the next block on this block. And as I was walking I see a house and there in front of the house kind of like a free box but they weren't in a free box. It was a big collection of books and they were on the sidewalk and they were leaning up against the bottom of the fence. As I approached I was really saying Jennifer please do not take a book home. This bag is already so heavy.
And as I approached the books I just got the sense that someone had passed away and they were putting out all of their books. There was nothing specific giving me that sense. Just a psychic sense and I could see that they were very very telling of whoever lived in that house. You did not need to be a psychic to see this person's political beliefs which were quite extreme. Their religious beliefs which were quite extreme.
And you also did not need to be a psychic to see that this person had had kidney disease. There were several books on managing kidney disease and also an advanced kidney disease cookbook. It's possible that these books came from three different people but the psychic part of me told me that it was indeed the same person that it was reading all of these books in their lifetime. And as I looked at these books and what a story they told I started to get this vibration in my chest. That lets me know that a spirit is nearby.
Now a funny thing has been happening to me lately. As soon as I start to feel a vibration in my chest that a spirit is nearby which happens frequently because they are everywhere. As soon as I feel this vibration lately the thought comes into my head. Oh maybe this can be my next podcast episode which isn't really that conducive to communing with the spirit. Is if I'm going to be like taking notes during it to do a podcast episode.
So I felt this vibration here while I was looking at these books and I said to myself I lied to myself and I said okay this will not be a podcast episode. And it was obviously a lie because here I am telling you the story but I lied to myself like that just so I could focus and really help this spirit who was letting me know that they were nearby. So I was feeling this vibration. I could tell just by standing there that the spirit was on the other side of the fence for me behind those books. But I did not quite see who it was yet.
So I brought my eyes down the line of books and then behind the books behind the fence was like a little bush. And so I looked at that bush and then I followed one long stem was coming up from the middle of this bush. And at the top of this stem was a big white rose. And this white rose was blowing as if in a breeze. I'll be honest and I did not feel any breeze at that time but this rose was moving.
In a beautiful way as if it were moving in a breeze even though I could not feel a breeze. So I knew from looking at this rose that this was a connection to a spirit. And as I looked at it for a minute the vibration grew stronger and stronger and stronger in my chest letting me know that this spirit was very close by. And as I looked at this rose that was moving and a breeze that I couldn't feel I saw just a little bit of motion in the corner of my eye. So I moved my gaze from the rose up to the right.
And there I couldn't quite see because I never see them directly in my mind's eye. I could see that there was a woman standing there, an older woman and she was wearing a nightgown and she had her hands outstretched towards me. And she was asking for help. Now I was pretty sure that this woman spirit was the politically active religious person with kidney disease who had lived in this house. She didn't say anything or communicate anything that indicated that but I was pretty sure that this woman standing in front of this house right behind these books communicating with me was that spirit.
And this elderly woman spirit with her outstretched hands was pleading and she was weak and she was very sad. And she knew exactly what she needed was for me to help her cross over. We had sustained eye contact me in this spirit. While she wordlessly communicated to me that she needed my help to cross over. And I wordlessly communicated to her that I will help her cross over.
So what I did was I called in her guides and my guides who came in instantly because everyone was waiting, I guess, for this to happen. And this is why they sent me up that block and this was all meant to be. And so she was so ready to go. And these guides were so ready to help her that her ascension was instant. It happened as soon as I called in all the guides.
And then that was that she was gone. And I said I think I'm beginning to realize why I missed that bus. I was meant to help this ghost of this woman to ascend. She needed to make contact with me so that she could move on to her next level, whatever that was. And I was also meant to find that Tupperware.
As I continued my walk home, as I approached the next block, I heard loud Irish music playing. And I realized that today was the day of the Irish fair at our local church. So I got to stand and listen to some really good music for a while. Another reason why I missed that bus. I ran into people I know I had a bunch of conversations.
This was all taking place on this one avenue in my neighborhood. It's like the village square and you just know everybody. And the Irish fair was going on that day. So there was a lot of socializing that I was able to do. I passed the Irish fair.
I made the left. I made it all the way down to my block. And I had a heavy bag and I was very tired and my feet hurt. But I felt so satisfied that I had taken this walk. I had saved the bus fair.
I had gotten some new Tupperware. But mainly I had helped a sad, desperate spirit to ascend.
